HOW TO INSTALL

.Unpack the content into your; Documentsmaya[VERSIONYEAR]scripts

.From Maya run the “INSTALL” Py script

This will install a shelf icon.

alternatively use;

import KeySnapper
KeySnapper.KeySnapper()

HOW TO USE.

KeySnapper will create keys on whole integers and remove non-integer keys while preserving tangents.

.Select sesired controls.

.select desired range, (no selection will use the entire time slider range)

.press “Find and Fix Non-Integer Keys”

FPS Retimer will, when presented with a non-integer key will create a new key on the closest whole frame and removing the non-integer while preserving the structure of the curve.

.Change frame rate to desired rate

.Input what timeframe the original animation was in

.Input the new frame rate (current FPS of the scene and the “target FPS” must match)

.press “Retime Selected Animation”
