Hi! This is MAD Art Animation Tools V2 — a free animation add-on for Blender, built to make animation workflows faster, cleaner, and more flexible.

Version 2 brings several new tools, major improvements, and bug fixes across the add-on.

DYNAMIC PIVOT

The new Dynamic Pivot tool lets you create an animatable pivot for objects and rig controllers.

The pivot follows the controller while allowing you to move the rotation center wherever you need during the animation.

Once you’re happy with the result, you can use Clean and Bake to remove the pivot setup and bake the final animation directly onto the original controller.

MOTION PATH IMPROVEMENTS

Motion Path received one of the biggest updates in V2.

You can now:

• Choose how many frames before and after the current frame are displayed
• Display the full Motion Path
• Automatically update the path after editing or deleting keyframes
• Change path color and size
• Display only selected keyframes
• Show frame numbers directly on the path
• Edit animation directly from the Motion Path itself

The animation slider concepts and interaction design in MAD Art Tools were inspired by the Animo plug-in for Autodesk Maya

COMPATIBILITY

MAD Art Tools V2 is built for Blender 5 and above.

This version has been fully tested on Blender 5.2 and is working properly.
